Air-Cooled Power Resistor in Aluminium Case IP55 / 65

The ACPK resistor is enclosed in a hermetically sealed aluminium case and achieves with its power cable bushes conformity to IP55 insulation level.
The ACPK resistor can be directly mounted on a flat surface or attached to a heatsink.
The dissipatable power can be considerably increased by up to 180% by forced air cooling.
This resistor can be installed indoors as well as outdoors, because of the completely sealed construction, needs no additional protection against environmental impact.
The maximum allowable surface temperature shall not exceed 420°C while the ACPK resistor is loaded to nominal power in continuous working.
Depending on the application various options like thermal switch, shielded cable, low inductance and others are possible.
